منظور دورة الحياة: لا تنقل المشكلة من مرحلة إلى أخرى من أقوى الأفكار في ISO 14001:2026 أن المنظمة لا يجب أن تنظر فقط إلى ما يحدث داخل حدودها المباشرة. بل يجب أن تفكر في دورة حياة المنتج أو الخدمة. المشكلة أن بعض القرارات تبدو “خضراء” في مرحلة معينة، لكنها تنقل التأثير البيئي إلى مرحلة أخرى. مثال: تقليل تكلفة التغليف قد يزيد التلف أثناء النقل. اختيار مادة أرخص قد يصعّب إعادة التدوير. تحسين كفاءة الإنتاج قد يرفع استهلاك مادة نادرة. خفض استهلاك الطاقة داخليًا قد يعتمد على مورد خارجي عالي الانبعاثات. منظور دورة الحياة لا يعني بالضرورة إجراء دراسة تفصيلية ومعقدة لكل منتج. لكنه يعني أن تسأل قبل القرار: ما التأثير البيئي في مرحلة التصميم؟ ما التأثير في الشراء؟ ما التأثير في الإنتاج؟ ما التأثير في النقل والاستخدام؟ ما التأثير عند نهاية العمر؟ الإدارة البيئية الذكية لا تفرح بتقليل رقم واحد بينما تخلق مشكلة أكبر في مكان آخر. ISO 14001:2026 يدفع المنظمة للتفكير في الصورة الكاملة، لا في جزء مريح منها فقط. One of the strongest ideas in ISO 14001:2026 is that organizations should not only look at what happens within their direct boundaries. They should think from a life cycle perspective. The problem is that some decisions look “green” at one stage but simply move the environmental impact to another stage. For example: Reducing packaging cost may increase product damage during transportation. Choosing a cheaper material may make recycling harder. Improving production efficiency may increase the use of a scarce material. Reducing internal energy consumption may depend on a high-emission external provider. A life cycle perspective does not necessarily mean conducting a detailed life cycle assessment for every product. It means asking before making decisions: What is the environmental impact at design stage? At procurement? At production? During transportation and use? At end-of-life? Smart environmental management does not celebrate reducing one number while creating a bigger problem elsewhere.
